Week 1 Assignments  1. Writing Homework. Must be done! Write two paragraphs about your hometown or the town you live in now.  Paragraphs should be 4-5 sentences in length. This is not a conversation. Use the Hometown conversation worksheet for ideas.  Here is an example:          My hometown is Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. My town is small, but there are lots of things to do. We have many museums and historical sites. We even have our own music festival! The summer is a great time to visit.         Bethlehem has many colleges and universities. We have beautiful libraries, and many kinds of restaurants. However, we don't have a lot of public transportation. Most people drive cars or walk.
